Walk from St Dogmaels

Sat 3rd Sep 2022 11:00 unless very wet
Coach House, St Dogmaels

To celebrate the re-opening of the path from Waunwhiod to the hairpin bend above Moylgrove, we’ll walk from the Coach House, St Dogmaels Abbey to the Garden Centre, where afternoon tea will be available.

We’ll be joined by Delyth Jenkins, who will bring her celtic harp to play along the way. (Delyth has walked the 186 miles of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path with her harp.)

Wear decent boots and carry some water and a phone. Here’s a map of the walk. It’s about 7km (4.5 miles), initially along quiet roads and then fields. Please note, the footpath has stiles, no dog gates, and some livestock.

If you would like transport either at the beginning or end of the walk, let us know in the booking form here. In the morning, the shuttle service will leave Penrallt Garden Centre at 10:30am. (However, if you’ve an easy way of arranging this for yourself, please do!)

Arranged with St Dogmaels Footpath Association and Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority.

Please book your place on the walk. There’s a joint booking form for the walk and the evening concert.

In the evening, Delyth will be giving a concert in Moylgrove Old School Hall, with a Welsh supper in the interval.
