Pruning with Steve 10-2pm. Comprehensive tour of the Forest Garden with Bruce 2-4pm
A day course which looks at pruning large trees to improve production and general health of apple and pear trees.
We will look at the main principles for winter pruning, the tools and general approach. The workshop will include a theory presentation as well as a practical demonstration where an apple tree will be pruned to achieve a better and more productive shape.
Facilities: large workshop if shelter is needed, compost loo.
